We run weekday morning, afternoon and evening volunteer shifts in our Abbotsford kitchen, together with Saturday morning and afternoon shifts.

Volunteers help with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, cracking eggs, making pastries and packing meals.

Daytime shifts are usually 3.5 hours long. Evening shifts are 2.5 hours long.

No experience is required.

Kitchen volunteering is extremely popular, and we currently have a wait list.

Please register your interest and we will keep you updated.

You may also suggest your workplace book a corporate volunteering shift.

Kitchen volunteers help with a wide range of kitchen tasks and must be physically fit, and able to be on their feet for the duration of the shift (up to 3 hours).
