RACV Member Garden Shift Volunteering | FareShare

RACV Member Volunteer Form

FareShare is RACV’s Welfare Community Partner and is the founding partner of the FareShare Kitchen Garden program. The first FareShare Kitchen Garden will be located in Abbotsford.

The garden will provide a diverse crop of high-yield vegetables such as zucchini, pumpkin, eggplant, broccoli, capsicum and cauliflower. The produce from this garden will allow FareShare to continue to cook over one million meals annually. The garden aims to produce more than one tonne of vegetables each month.

This form is for RACV members to volunteer for one-off garden shifts. Our garden manager Susie will provide a description of the work involved and check you are physically suited to it.

This form is an expression of interest in the shift and does not guarantee a place. Once we receive the form we’ll respond to each person confirming shift availability and providing instructions.
  • The garden is open to RACV Member volunteers on the first Friday of the month. Shifts run from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Volunteering is for ONE shift only but please advise of ALL timeslots you are available (you can select more than one by holding down the Ctrl button). You will be emailed to confirm if there is a timeslot you can attend.
